DS 362: Introduction to Machine Learning

Welcome!

Welcome to the course website for DS 362: Introduction to Machine Learning for Fall 2027.

This course builds on the foundations established in DS 201 Intro to Data Science and DS 210 Math Methods for Data Science to introduce students to the field of machine learning. The course will cover a variety of machine learning methods and applications. Machine learning is the basis for many of the most powerful contemporary approaches to artificial intelligence and data science. After taking this course students will be well-prepared to apply machine learning methods in a variety of contexts and to pursue further study in data science, machine learning and artificial intelligence.
